A proposito della manifestazione Viareggio Viva promossa dal consorzio Friendly Versilia e dall’associazione dei locali della Darsena in collaborazione con la Confesercenti, svoltasi sabato scorso, il circolo Legambiente Versilia desidera sottolinearne l'evidente flop, come partecipanti e ancor più come idee .

The production and waste management, increased dramatically in recent decades, constitutes one of the most pressing issues for the future of our planet .
Most end up in fact landfill, causing odor, land consumption and pollution of the aquifer, or is incinerated , resulting in the production of large quantities of dioxin, a chemical carcinogen, which finishes with the ' air, water, soil, plants, animals and therefore in our food.
To help solve the problem of waste is important that each of us, as a producer and / or consumer, put into practice, in order of priority, The following 4 rules -inspired Community:

I decided to share the opening of the brewery describing step by step all the bureaucratic process. I do it because I personally (not that it now has) a lot of confusion about the various steps, and network I could not find anything. Then when I asked my friends brewers began to use absurd terms, permits, meters, fees, documents, etc. .. I lost in their words and I could see in their eyes the suffering caused by the memory of that whole ordeal.
I hope this and the next post on this subject may be useful for those who are or would go my own way.

Molta gente si lamenta delle poor conditions prevailing in the Lecciona. After sole mercury detected by Greenpeace and the lack of transparency of our bathing waters, the fair trade Versilia Group, in collaboration with Legambiente Versilia , is organizing a public debate on Monday, August 16 con il biologo dell'ARPAT di Lucca, dott. Gilberto Baldaccini .
Sarà un incontro aperto a tutti , un'occasione utile per acquisire informazioni, rispondere a qualche dubbio e magari capire cosa è possibile fare, sia individualmente che collettivamente, per migliorare e proteggere la qualità delle acque costiere.
L'incontro si svolgerà lunedi 16 agosto alle ore 21.15 presso il cantiere sociale versiliese nella scuola ex-Inapli in via Belluomini al Varignano, a Viareggio.

Ci sorprendono profondamente le voci secondo cui la Regione Toscana valuterebbe positivamente l'ipotesi di cambiare i confini del Parco per far passare l'asse di penetrazione a Sud dello Stadio.
Sarebbe un grave arretramento nella politica della Regione Toscana, che, da decenni, ha posizioni di avanguardia in tema di politica dei parchi e di difesa della Rete Europea della biodiversità e che anche la nuova Giunta Regionale ha di recente ribadito di voler potenziare.
L'asse a Sud dello stadio costituirebbe un disastro ambientale annunciato , visto che il Comune di Viareggio qualche anno fa, come prevede la legge, aveva commissionato una valutazione dell'impatto ambientale , che avrebbero le varie ipotesi di tracciato finale. E il percorso a Sud dello stadio è risultato quello a maggiore e devastante impatto sull'ambiente, con gravi danni anche alla falda acquifera.
Non si vede con quale logica si dovrebbero fare le valutazioni di impatto ambientale per poi scegliere la soluzione risultata più dannosa. Non è certo cambiando i confini del Parco che si eliminerebbero gli effetti dannosi sull'ecosistema.
Contro tale ipotesi ci muoveremo in tutte le sedi, anche internazionali, tanto più che l'area coinvolta è oggetto di pericolose pressioni urbanistiche ed è stata in anni recenti sottoposta ad una notevole espansione portuale, che già made problematic the relationship between infrastructure, environment and tourism, and would require, if anything, in itself, mitigation works, and certainly not devastating further action on the landscape and the environment.

These first weeks were quite dense, and have not had a minute to update the blog.
Apart clean the house, I found it quite tedious having to contact banks, insurance companies, public offices to communicate my move from home. I can say now that the site www.iammoving.com and 'absolutely useless, since most' of the goal 'offices contacted by the change of address that they wanted fossi io a telefonare personalmente, per evitare frodi. Devo quindi rimangiarmi cio' che avevo scritto in un post del 2008.
Ma torniamo alla casa. Era gia' tutta arredata, cosa che ha facilitato parecchio l'insediamento: ho trovato di tutto, dal bollitore al tostapane, dalla scopa elettrica alla lampada da scrivania. Curiosamente, mancava un pela-patate.
Come si puo' notare, ci sono degli ampi finestroni che coprono sia il piano terra (salotto/cucina) sia il mezzanino (camera da letto). Questa configurazione mi era sembrata davvero carina la prima volta che avevo visto l'appartamento, ed ha avuto un impatto non secondario nella scelta della mia casa a Nottingham. of Environmental Education: the party with the students
Saturday at Villa Borbone there was the final event of the draft environmental education the Legambiente Versilia, through funding from 'Body Regional Park Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli realized for schools in the Municipality of Viareggio during the school year 2009-2010 .
The project saw the participation of 18 classes in total, from elementary to high school, and was held for half classroom and half in the Macchia Lucchese . The students were in fact illustrates the various aspects of the Park St. Flushing Migliarino Massaciuccoli through classroom but also through tours and practical activities such as planting of essences, the construction of fascinate to protect the dunes and the location of cartelli fatti a mano con spiegazioni dell’ambiente ed inviti al rispetto della natura.
All’ evento finale che si è svolta a Villa Borbone nei locali della Limonaia, sono intervenuti molti studenti con i loro insegnanti e alcuni genitori , che hanno presentato e mostrato gli elaborati prodotti , fra cui foto, disegni e relazioni sulle varie esperienze e sulle caratteristiche naturali della Macchia Lucchese.
Al termine tutti i ragazzi sono stati premiati con doni dell’Ente Parco e una merenda gentilmente offerta dalla Coop .
Dall’entusiasmo e dalla partecipazione del pubblico di grandi e piccini possiamo senz’altro ritenere che la Macchia Lucchese è stata una piacevole scoperta , ricca di interesse e di nascoste bellezze, sia all’interno del bosco che sulla spiaggia. Per questo gli studenti, gli insegnanti e gli operatori di Legambiente si sono salutati con una promessa: far conoscere e diffondere il più possibile questo tesoro nascosto, superando quella limitata visione che spesso lo riduce ad una semplice “pineta”, che fa solo da contorno alla balneazione e che per il resto dell’anno rimane un luogo isolato e poco ospitale.

Saturday at Villa Borbone there was the final event of the draft environmental education the Legambiente Versilia, through funding from 'Body Regional Park Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli realized for schools in the Municipality of Viareggio during the school year 2009-2010 . All’ evento finale che si è svolta a Villa Borbone nei locali della Limonaia, sono intervenuti molti studenti con i loro insegnanti e alcuni genitori , che hanno presentato e mostrato gli elaborati prodotti , fra cui foto, disegni e relazioni sulle varie esperienze e sulle caratteristiche naturali della Macchia Lucchese. Al termine tutti i ragazzi sono stati premiati con doni dell’Ente Parco e una merenda gentilmente offerta dalla Coop .

Nightmare Before My Period
Parking in Nottingham

L'iniziativa di domenica scorsa, nell'ambito della campagna nazionale di Legambiente “Spiagge Pulite 2010”, ha visto la partecipazione di una quarantina di volontari , che coordinati dal nostro circolo, in collaborazione con l'Ente Parco MSRM, SEA e Croce Verde Viareggio, hanno raccolto i rifiuti lungo il litorale della Riserva Naturale della Lecciona.
Diversamente dagli anni precedenti non abbiamo trovato la spiaggia molto sporca .
Probabilmente le diverse operazioni manuali che si sono svolte nei mesi scorsi, eseguite da vari gruppi di volontariato, sono state determinanti nel rimuovere la grande quantità di rifiuti che si era accumulata in seguito alle mareggiate.

This material not only stop erosion long term, promotes greening , as is already possible to see with a stroll along the coast. There are numerous species of plants that grew on the dunes fledgling, protected and fed by their own wood and twigs from the beach.
