L'iniziativa di domenica scorsa, nell'ambito della campagna nazionale di Legambiente “Spiagge Pulite 2010”, ha visto la partecipazione di una quarantina di volontari , che coordinati dal nostro circolo, in collaborazione con l'Ente Parco MSRM, SEA e Croce Verde Viareggio, hanno raccolto i rifiuti lungo il litorale della Riserva Naturale della Lecciona. Diversamente dagli anni precedenti non abbiamo trovato la spiaggia molto sporca .
Probabilmente le diverse operazioni manuali che si sono svolte nei mesi scorsi, eseguite da vari gruppi di volontariato, sono state determinanti nel rimuovere la grande quantità di rifiuti che si era accumulata in seguito alle mareggiate.

This material not only stop erosion long term, promotes greening , as is already possible to see with a stroll along the coast. There are numerous species of plants that grew on the dunes fledgling, protected and fed by their own wood and twigs from the beach.
